I don't think it ever took me so much to do a pixel. I finished the ouline really fast and then just stared at it for several days, since I couldn't visualise the face and the hair. I finally forced myself to just color the inside (with the skin color) and it imediatly started to look better, which motivated me to keep going. After so many days of art block it was finally over. And weird. I had made it naked and holding the trumpet with both hands. So I decided it looked weird 'cause he was naked, which made it look to simple. So I did some research on clothes (a bit harder than I thought actually xD) and pixeled one. Better, but still looked weird. So I finally came to realise it was looking weird 'cause the hand on the back was so tiny that it seemed as if he only had one hand. So I deleted the second hand and pixeled an harm and hand, and problem solved ^^ I was so happy with the result that I wasn't happy until I had 2 more re-colors xD
